Art Rooted in Everyday Life

I paint because life keeps asking me to notice it.

I have never been formally trained in dance. I don’t count beats, I don’t follow techniques, and I’ve never called myself a dancer. But if there is one thing I know with absolute certainty, it is this: dance lives in my heart.

By profession, I'm a Project Manager—planning, organizing, and bringing ideas to life every day. My world revolves around timelines, milestones, and making sure projects run smoothly. But beyond spreadsheets and schedules, there’s another side of me that brings equal joy and balance to my life: baking.

My love for photography started in childhood, watching my father merge his passion for physics with the art of capturing images. Together, we experimented - creating compositions, playing with light, and even watching a solar eclipse through a negative film. Back then, it was simply fun. Only later did I realize those moments laid the foundation for a lifelong passion.

Music has always been my go-to for de-stressing and lifting my mood. But playing music is different - the joy multiplies because it’s not just about me anymore. It’s about sharing melodies and seeing others feel that same happiness.

I grew up in a home full of music, stories, and imagination. My mom, an Indian classical and folk singer, and my dad, a writer and theatre artist, ensured our house was never quiet. There were always songs, plays, and poems filling the air. From a young age, I realized I didn’t just want to showcase talent; I wanted to create experiences. That idea stuck with me, and eventually it led me to marketing.

Some lessons hit harder than a shuttlecock at full swing. Those lessons have come from the badminton court, the camera lens, and the stage.
