My love for photography started in childhood, watching my father merge his passion for physics with the art of capturing images. Together, we experimented - creating compositions, playing with light, and even watching a solar eclipse through a negative film. Back then, it was simply fun. Only later did I realize those moments laid the foundation for a lifelong passion.
Today, my lens is often drawn to three worlds: birds, the night sky, and the wonders of nature.
Bird photography is thrilling. Birds are elusive, fast, and unpredictable. The hunt itself is exhilarating-you have just seconds to spot a rare species, adjust your camera, and frame the shot. The technical challenge keeps me sharp, and the reward of capturing that fleeting moment never fades.
Astrophotography, on the other hand, is a lesson in patience and precision. From aligning mounts to timing exposures at just the right hour, it feels like a journey through time. Revealing craters on the moon or capturing stars invisible to the naked eye is both humbling and awe-inspiring. Each image reminds me how vast and beautiful the universe is.
Even nature photography connects me back to the physics lessons I once shared with my father-how sunlight bounces off water droplets, how angles shift depth of field, how a sensor interprets light. The blend of science and art is what makes photography endlessly fascinating for me.
And surprisingly, the skills I've built behind the lens translate seamlessly into my career in IT. The patience I practice while waiting for the perfect shot helps me troubleshoot complex problems. The technical precision of planning and execution mirrors designing robust IT solutions. Most importantly, the ability to adapt quickly-whether to shifting light or shifting project requirements-has become second nature.
At Mastek, I treat every project like a tournament: prepare like a pro, play as a team, and celebrate every win. Passion isn't something I switch on after hours - it fuels everything I do. Blending personal interests with professional responsibilities helps me create impact inside Mastek and beyond.
"For me, every shot is more than an image. It's a lesson, a memory, and a way of looking at the world with new eyes."
