By profession, I'm a Project Manager—planning, organizing, and bringing ideas to life every day. My world revolves around timelines, milestones, and making sure projects run smoothly. But beyond spreadsheets and schedules, there’s another side of me that brings equal joy and balance to my life: baking.
My journey with baking began at home, inspired by my children. As a mother to a 13-year-old and a 3-year-old, I wanted them to grow up enjoying food made with love. I wanted them to remember cookies fresh from the oven, cakes baked with care, and moments filled with warmth. What started as a simple desire to make healthier, homemade treats for my kids soon became a passion I deeply connected with.
After long, structured workdays, baking became my creative escape. Stepping into the kitchen allowed me to slow down and focus on something tangible. Measuring ingredients, experimenting with flavors, and watching a recipe come together gave me a sense of calm and accomplishment. The best part, however, is seeing smiles light up after the first bite. It reminds me that even the simplest things, when done with heart, can create meaningful connections.
Over time, I realized how closely baking mirrors my professional life. Just like managing a project, baking requires planning, precision, and patience. Not every recipe turns out perfect on the first attempt, but with small adjustments and persistence, the outcome improves. This parallel has taught me to appreciate the process, not just the result—both in the kitchen and at work.
Baking has also shaped a dream I hold close to my heart. Someday, I hope to open a cozy café in the hills—a place filled with the aroma of freshly baked treats, warm conversations, and comfort. A space where people can pause, connect, and enjoy something made with intention. For me, it’s not just about running a café; it’s about creating an experience where passion meets purpose.
Until then, I continue to balance both worlds. By day, I manage projects and collaborate with teams. In my own time, I bake—learning, experimenting, and dreaming. I’ve come to believe that every dream is simply another project waiting to be realized. With dedication, patience, and heart, it’s possible to turn even the smallest passion into something meaningful.
