I grew up in a home full of music, stories, and imagination. My mom, an Indian classical and folk singer, and my dad, a writer and theatre artist, ensured our house was never quiet. There were always songs, plays, and poems filling the air. From a young age, I realized I didn’t just want to showcase talent; I wanted to create experiences. That idea stuck with me, and eventually it led me to marketing.
Some lessons hit harder than a shuttlecock at full swing. Those lessons have come from the badminton court, the camera lens, and the stage.
A recent McKinsey research revealed that while long-term Artificial Intelligence (AI) opportunities are pegged at USD 4.4 trillion in terms of potential productivity growth, only one percent of business leaders professed that their organizations had fully integrated AI in their workflows. Yet, there is no doubt or disagreement that AI for data analysis lends tremendous value to almost every aspect of business operations - be it in delivering intelligent automation, predictive analytics, secure transactions, improved productivity, user experience and more.
My story with sports doesn’t have a grand beginning. It started on a regular school day, in a dusty playground, with a cricket bat in one hand and endless energy in my legs.
It began as a vacation plan - something exciting to try in the Andamans. But as I stood at the edge of the boat, scuba gear strapped on, ocean stretching endlessly ahead, I realized this wasn’t just about adventure. This was about stepping into the unknown - both literally and metaphorically. I had no idea this dive would change the way I looked at courage, calm, and myself.
