I'm sure you will all now be aware that leading management consultancy IndigoBlue has recently been acquired by Mastek. As Managing Director and one of the original founders of the company I'm delighted that we have been embraced by the Mastek family.
The acquisition represents an important development for IndigoBlue. Originally founded in 2002, IndigoBlue has built an unrivalled reputation in the successful delivery of Agile change programmes, and its innovation in the development of its market leading Agile governance framework and target operating model. We have built excellent long term partnerships with our customers who span diverse market sectors, including public sector, finance, media, publishing, retail and not for profit and include Dixons Carphone, Specsavers, the Met Police, the YHA, and Aviva, to name a few. However, we have at times struggled to scale to meet the needs of our customers often having to partner to provide a full end-to-end solution. Now, through Mastek, we have no such constraints.
In Alignment
As the acquisition was announced, I was delighted to receive many messages from well-wishers. Particularly pleasing were those from friends and colleagues who had previously worked with Mastek. All talked of technically excellent, hardworking, friendly people, something we had recognised during the sale process, and felt this aligned perfectly with IndigoBlue's own culture.
The acquisition was completed on April 30th and the relationship is still in its infancy. However the synergistic benefits are already clear. IndigoBlue has provided support to Mastek for a major public sector client, and we are working together on a number of joint opportunities. The combination of IndigoBlue's consulting and programme management expertise is a perfect complement for Mastek's in depth technical excellence and scaled delivery capability. Exciting times lie ahead for IndigoBlue, Mastek and our customers, and we are all delighted to be a part of that future.
